Learn how to structure, plan and execute exploratory testing
Exploratory testing is a key skill for team members in agile projects. Yes, we hopefully have a great deal of automation – but only exploratory testing helps us see which risks we haven’t even thought of yet and keeps our testing fresh and relevant.
Although it’s important, many teams don’t know how to decide where or what to test. And when they do have an idea, it can be hard to make that tangible in order to gain the best insights from the time spent testing.
This workshop will take participants through the steps of deciding what to test, creating test charters and executing them. We’ll be doing hands-on testing and visualisation of the system to test.
Participants will take away:
1. How to decide what to test in a structured yet lightweight way
2. Hands-on experience of exploratory testing, guided and supported by the workshop leaders
3. Valuable tips on incorporating exploratory testing and the insights it brings into your process
